Supplements Nitric Oxide

Nitric Oxide Benefits

Nitric oxide benefits many areas of the human body. Research scientists found Nitric oxide gas to provide better regulation of the human body for example the lungs, kidney, brain, liver and other organs. There are also tissues that benefit from Nitric oxide.

Here is a list that summarizes the effects of Nitric oxide and how it can help our body.

  1. NO controls hypertension (blood pressure). The blood vessels in your body are more relaxed from Nitric oxide gas. The blood flow and vessels are enlarged providing more nutrients throughout the body.
  2. Immune system is better protected. The immune cells in the body usually discharge nitric oxide to help protect us from bacteria and viral infections. The production of cells in the bone marrow is improved and overall boosts the immune system.
  3. Taking nitric oxide supplements provides various vitamins essential to the body. For example, potassium, calcium, zinc, vitamin A and C, and iron.
  4. Nitric oxide helps with rheumatism and inflammation. Inflammation can be a concern for many bodybuilders. It provides muscle pain reduction due to extreme stress.
  5. You can pack on some serious muscle using nitric oxide. Not only will your muscles feel the weight pumps during workout, recovery time is quicker, and it aids in losing body fat.
  6. As mentioned previously Nitric oxide helps with improving body functions. For example, research suggests nitric oxide can aid in the better functioning of the brain by memory, sleeping and learning.
  7. Lastly, nitric oxide benefits by increase sexual stimuli. Taking Viagra (male impotence tablets) enhances the level of nitric oxide in the body which allows for improved blood flow levels as it prolongs and intensifies the level of stimulation.

Best Nitric Oxide Supplement

Is there one particular, best nitric oxide supplement on the market? I don’t think so. Having tried a few Nitric oxide supplements, I found 4-5 supplements that seemed to work for me. But what works for me, may not work for you based on body size, health, diet and of course how you react to stimulants etc.  So for the rest of this post I am going to give you the names of some of the best nitric oxide supplements and what I think of them.

Controlled Labs White Flood 1.34lb Tub

This stuff is really good. When you take it before a workout whether it is training weights or doing cardio I found increased energy and focus. If you suffer from a lack of energy or motivation, consider taking this stuff. I must admit the taste is not great and does not taste anything like lemonade but that does not bother me. I did experience headaches but that was because I did not drink enough water throughout the day.  The muscle pump during my workouts was very impressive. I know a lot of women who take White Flood, one of my friends who is a personal trainer says she finds it very useful especially when doing resistance training. I take White Flood on an on/off cycle. This way my muscles and immune system, do not become used to the Nitric oxide supplement

Gaspari Nutrition Superpump 250

I had previously taken Gaspari Nutrition Size On and was impressed by it except for the price. I feel the same way about the Superpump 250. The taste is way better than White Flood and there is more of a choice. My personal preference is tropical punch but they all the flavors taste okay. It is recommended that you go through a loading phase just in case you are sensitive to stimulants. Do not take this 3-4 hours before bed time as you may as well kiss bed time goodbye as you will end up lying awake. This has happened to me a couple of times. Superpump 250 when taken as recommended before a workout should give you a great pump during your workout with intense focus. It delivers more than what I expected and feel that it is worth the slightly expensive price.

USPlabs Jack3d

This is another one of my favorites.  Simply because it works and delivers some awesome pumps. First couple of times I took Jack3d I felt like a rush of energy and concentration to pump iron. It did feel like I was taking something much stronger! My training routine did go through the roof. It comes at a good price also. Do follow the instructions carefully especially if you are a novice in training and taking nitric oxide supplements in general, do follow the recommended loading dose at first.

So there you have it. The best NO (Nitric oxide) supplements, I like are listed above. I do also like NO explode and MuscleTech Nano Vapor but the effects I got from the others do not compare.

Supplements That Enhance Nitric Oxide Levels

For bodybuilders today the market is flooded with all kinds of supplements. Whether it is for fat loss, multivitamins or amino acids, there is a wide variety of supplements to choose from. I want to look at supplements that enhance Nitric oxide levels.

Many supplements claim to enhance performance levels but only some live up to the billing. If you were to search for Nitric oxide supplements online, you will find a considerable amount of products available. Knowing which supplement to choose is important for your training goals.

First off, Nitric oxide is formed from the breakdown of L-Arginine into L-Citruline amino acid by enzymes in the body. The advantages of Nitric oxide are many. Besides giving bodybuilders the muscle pump by increasing the volume of blood flow throughout the body, Nitric oxide provides nutrients to muscles especially at a time when they go through extreme stress levels during training.

One thing you should note is that Nitric oxide is a requirement for everyone. Studies have shown Nitric oxide regulates the activities of the brain, kidneys, lungs, liver, stomach and other organs. Nitric oxide is also used in the drug viagra to treat male impotence. It stands to reason, as Nitric oxide promotes more blood flow throughout the body.

Supplements that enhance Nitric oxide levels contain a certain amount of Arginine in them. Check for labels when you purchase any Nitric oxide supplement. I tend to compare labels of nitric oxide supplements. You may find some cheaper brands offering the same levels of performance as more expensive brands.

Nitric Oxide Foods

As a bodybuilder knowing what foods to eat is a daily part of your life. Having small regular meals throughout the day allows your body to stay in an anabolic state,  feed your muscles and lose body fat. Besides taking supplements, I was looking into what foods contribute to Nitric oxide production.

As part of a healthy diet eating servings of fish, beans, soya products and lean cuts of meat can help elevate nitric oxide levels. Nitric oxide foods such as lean meats contain the amino acid Arginine which is the catalyst for Nitric oxide production. Eating foods with higher levels of Arginine and following the right diet and exercise as a whole  allow for your blood vessels to become restored from any damages caused by smoking or a high cholesterol diet.

Nitric oxide foods containing vitamins C and E help preserve Nitric oxide levels, relax the blood vessels and maintain healthy blood pressure. Foods that contain vitamin C are broccoli (a good source of iron and protein), peppers, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, oranges and kiwi fruit. You can find vitamin E in a variety of food sources but the most richest sources are olive oil, soya and corn oil. Other good sources are Soya, Wheatgerm and nuts.

As with any healthy diet eating the right amount of nitric oxide foods is essential for any bodybuilder. If you are looking to take an Arginine supplement and increase levels of this amino acid it is important to make sure you let your doctor know if you suffer from kidney or liver disease. Through medical research there are no known side effects to taking arginine and for a bodybuilder the production of nitric oxide gives the best muscle pumps during and after workout.
